Preparations, Bridal Shower, Window Shopping & Movie

So, this weekend was a hella busy and fun one. I did sooo many things in just 2 days. Started off my Friday by working early as I had to make a few errands to prepare for Mariam's Bridal Shower and ended it on Sunday at work. I really don't even know where my time went, but quite frankly it's something I've missed. It's always a good feeling knowing you have a lot going on. Makes me feel alive and undo the repetitive everyday routine.

On Friday after I left work and finished my errands, I went to Janine's house to prepare for Saturday's event. Even though I was tired, I really enjoyed everything I did just cause I love participating and putting events together. Went to bed late with pillow talk with Sara, woke up early to Sara's sleep talking. She seriously was having a clear conversation...I totally thought she was on the phone at 6.30 am. lol. Super cuteness, turns out it was a dream.

As Saturday morning came, we got everything prepared for the Bridal Shower. On our way to the hall while picking up balloons, Sara and I stopped at The Coffee Bean and I discovered the BEST blended Iced Mocha there....it's exquisitely delicious. The banquet room turned out great and the food was spectacular. The highlight of the afternoon was the kitchen door locking on us. Fortunately, all the food was set up by the time guests arrived and someone showed up with the key soon thereafter.

The Bride-To-Be:

The Bride with Matron-of-Honor & Bridesmaids:

The event turned out to be a great and beautiful event. We hung out in the parking lot for a while after it ended. Maria, Mayra, and I then decided to go to the mall watch a movie: Couples Retreat. It was fun hanging out with them. I found the cutest jacket at H&M that I'm gonna go back and buy. The movie was pretty funny.

Then, when I was on my way home, I probably had the scariest situations happen to me. I don't usually get scared easily, but this one actually did it for me. I was stopped at a red light and a car pulled up next to me blasting music. I was chillin and then the front passenger of that car got out and was laughing. I was like "Ok, crazy drunk person" in my head. Then she started dancing in the middle of both cards and started grinding my car. And then I just smiled and thought she was just having a good time. And then it got weird, cause everyone else in that car was yelling and she started throwing gang signs and her smile was fading away. And I was like, " Shit. Imma get shot and my blade ain't gonna help me in this one. " So yeah, that felt like the longest 10 seconds of my life. I thought, "Shit, should I go with my instincts, take the red light and bone out and probably run this chick over or just chill out." Fortunately, this girl decided to get back in the car and then the light changed. So I took off and then I thought everything was over and hit 55 on a 35 speed limit street when this fucken car caught up to me again. I was looking at my side mirror and I was like "This is gonna turn up to be a drive-by status thing." As soon as they caught up, they slowed back down and I was praying to the God Almighty. But, I guess it was just a bunch of drunk people cause I'm still here. lol. So yeah, that was creepy and scary. I've never had one of these happen to me before.

Anyway, Sunday was about sleeping in and working. I already can't wait for the coming weekend....Palm Springs!!! Gonna go visits my cousins and probably hit the penny slot machines. Woot Woot!!!

Halloween Time at Disneyland

Halloween time is finally here!!! And to welcome it and de-stress from an everyday routine, Mayra, Ilsa, and I decided to go to Disneyland. The Halloween decorations and fireworks are amazing, awesome, spectacular, entertaining and so on and on and on...

Here are some pics of us having fun at the Happiest Place on Earth. It's too bad I didn't take pics or video of the fireworks show. Prob my favorite ever....villain inspired. Muahahahahahah!!!!!!

The Haunted Mansion was super cool. It was jam packed with decorations.

Space Mountain was different...

Overall, a fantastic day!!!!
