So, this weekend was a hella busy and fun one. I did sooo many things in just 2 days. Started off my Friday by working early as I had to make a few errands to prepare for Mariam's Bridal Shower and ended it on Sunday at work. I really don't even know where my time went, but quite frankly it's something I've missed. It's always a good feeling knowing you have a lot going on. Makes me feel alive and undo the repetitive everyday routine.
On Friday after I left work and finished my errands, I went to Janine's house to prepare for Saturday's event. Even though I was tired, I really enjoyed everything I did just cause I love participating and putting events together. Went to bed late with pillow talk with Sara, woke up early to Sara's sleep talking. She seriously was having a clear conversation...I totally thought she was on the phone at 6.30 am. lol. Super cuteness, turns out it was a dream.
As Saturday morning came, we got everything prepared for the Bridal Shower. On our way to the hall while picking up balloons, Sara and I stopped at The Coffee Bean and I discovered the BEST blended Iced Mocha there....it's exquisitely delicious. The banquet room turned out great and the food was spectacular. The highlight of the afternoon was the kitchen door locking on us. Fortunately, all the food was set up by the time guests arrived and someone showed up with the key soon thereafter.
The event turned out to be a great and beautiful event. We hung out in the parking lot for a while after it ended. Maria, Mayra, and I then decided to go to the mall watch a movie: Couples Retreat. It was fun hanging out with them. I found the cutest jacket at H&M that I'm gonna go back and buy. The movie was pretty funny.
Then, when I was on my way home, I probably had the scariest situations happen to me. I don't usually get scared easily, but this one actually did it for me. I was stopped at a red light and a car pulled up next to me blasting music. I was chillin and then the front passenger of that car got out and was laughing. I was like "Ok, crazy drunk person" in my head. Then she started dancing in the middle of both cards and started grinding my car. And then I just smiled and thought she was just having a good time. And then it got weird, cause everyone else in that car was yelling and she started throwing gang signs and her smile was fading away. And I was like, " Shit. Imma get shot and my blade ain't gonna help me in this one. " So yeah, that felt like the longest 10 seconds of my life. I thought, "Shit, should I go with my instincts, take the red light and bone out and probably run this chick over or just chill out." Fortunately, this girl decided to get back in the car and then the light changed. So I took off and then I thought everything was over and hit 55 on a 35 speed limit street when this fucken car caught up to me again. I was looking at my side mirror and I was like "This is gonna turn up to be a drive-by status thing." As soon as they caught up, they slowed back down and I was praying to the God Almighty. But, I guess it was just a bunch of drunk people cause I'm still here. lol. So yeah, that was creepy and scary. I've never had one of these happen to me before.
Anyway, Sunday was about sleeping in and working. I already can't wait for the coming weekend....Palm Springs!!! Gonna go visits my cousins and probably hit the penny slot machines. Woot Woot!!!

Halloween Time at Disneyland

Halloween time is finally here!!! And to welcome it and de-stress from an everyday routine, Mayra, Ilsa, and I decided to go to Disneyland. The Halloween decorations and fireworks are amazing, awesome, spectacular, entertaining and so on and on and on...
Here are some pics of us having fun at the Happiest Place on Earth. It's too bad I didn't take pics or video of the fireworks show. Prob my favorite ever....villain inspired. Muahahahahahah!!!!!!
The Haunted Mansion was super cool. It was jam packed with decorations.

Ring Ring
So, as we were in San Francisco (like 2 months ago) my co-workers and I decided to prep ourselves for the trade show by drinking....heavily. We went bar hopping after dining at an Indian restaurant the first night we were there. Adam ended up stealing the show and below I have compiled a list of what he did (or caused the rest of us to do):

- Not only did he drink the most, but he almost got me in a fight with a man.
- Since he was feeling a little under the weather, Sara ad I decided to ride back to our hotel with him. (We didn't want him wandering SF under his condition. He might have gotten himself lost).
- Almost throwing up in the cab on our way to the hotel. He lowered the window the whole way (and it was really, really cold) and literally kept the air blowing in his face while Sara and I were freezing our butts off.
- He blew Sara and I off when we asked him if he was okay or if he needed a bag or needed the cab driver to pull over. All he said was "STOP TALKING TO ME!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!"
- In the lobby of our hotel, there was a table with a 50's phone. So, taking advantage of his condition and while waiting for the elevator, we asked him to pick up the phone and pretend as if he was talking to someone. We then took a picture of him:

- We walked him to his room (which was next to ours) and we asked if he needed anything or if he needed help. He replied "I have a date with Hewie for the night! Leave me alone." (Hilarious. Hewie is the toilet by the way)

The Beggining Episode....
So right now you might be wondering "Why did she call it The Yoana Show?" The purpose of this first post is to elaborate on why Sarita Guey has given me this nickname.
The beginning episode started in San Francisco while working a Trade Show. I basically met my new best friend...Rose Champagne. Thanks to her, the outcome of the night was a blur (at least to me) and unforgettable to those that were there. I remember being at the W's bar...thanks to a picture taken there.
Thereafter, we went to a Vietnamese restaurant. I don't remember ever leaving The W, getting in a cab, and walking into that restaurant. So Sara ordered my food, Chicken Fried Rice (since she knows what's up and I end up liking everything she orders). Below, I have listed a few Highlights of the Quotes I apparently said and a few things I did that got me this title:
So, from this past experience, I have decided to pass on The Yoana Show to those that have done something funny or have acted ridiculously in my presence. Good Luck!!!!

- Thinking a salty dipping sauce was a soup. So I sipped it even though Sara kept saying "No. Don't drink that. Look at me, its like ketchup!" So after I tasted how salty it was, I acted out all cool and dipped my chicken in it and said "See. I know what it's for."
- Spilled a lot of glasses of water and got Liz and Adam wet.
- Saying "Wapam Wapam" really loudly while thrusting violently into the air and a co-worker.
- Yelling "I'm anemic motherfucker!!!!" to Eddie.
- Signing Sara's bill under her name.
- Asking for Sake. Adam then said, "This is a Vietnamese restaurant. They don't have Sake." And I repsonded "They don't know that!"
So, from this past experience, I have decided to pass on The Yoana Show to those that have done something funny or have acted ridiculously in my presence. Good Luck!!!!
